From a floor mattress to Female Biz Recruiter, Earner in my family and Founder of my new Company. #Godsplan

First Generation American.
My parents came with a backpack and ambitions.
We survived for a while on $10,000 a year.
Yes, that's what my parents made.

Fastforward....

...I was sleeping in a floor mattress back in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Soon we were pregnant with our first child. I lost my job and Vic and I lost our apartment. 

I was standing at Saddleback and several churches to be able to get food to supplement our food stamps. I would go look for a Costco cake at the food pantry when there was a birthday. We couldn't afford anything else. We literally had to collect quarters to complete a purchase at Target's self- checkout and that was considered "a night out".

When Network Marketing was brought to me, I honestly just wanted an extra $500. An extra $500 would allow us to take our family for a decent biweekly drive out without feeling like we would have to put TEA in our gas tank to survive. LOL

When I seriously started, I was raising a 4-month-old who didn't sleep through the night.

I was struggling with fatigue. 
Scared that I had been experiencing pain while still recovering from a C-section. 

I had 0 Network Marketing Experience. 
I was told I wouldn't succeed because I wouldn't do IN-PERSON parties etc.

Victor was working full time.

​

I did 0 IN-PERSON parties due to safety concerns during the pandemic. 
I started with 123 FB friends.
99 IG followers. 

I didn't have a working UPLINE.
I received 0 previous training. 

​

I had to figure EVERYTHING out on my own and go against the grain in Network Marketing ALREADY. 

5 years ago, it sounded TABOO to say you solely built through social media. 

I joined and got to WORK. 
Maybe it was my fear of living another year in the same conditions again...
But....
I WAS NOT GOING TO FAIL THIS TIME. 
I could not squander the opportunity God gave us. 
That would be on me. 
So, I ran as if my life depended on it. 
As fast as I could. 
Never looked back.

For the first time ever, I earned commission during when I slept after 4 months of when I became decided and..shortly after, my husband became employed at a higher paying job to earn more. After his continued support eight months later, I had created my own book to sell and bring in income. I plan for my husband to retire soon. Within a year we see ourselves earning a $100k a year plus more...all while being a stay-at-home parent.
